Maria Terris grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and she has a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies, an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology, which certified her as a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2004, and she became a Certified Canine Massage Therapist in December 2013. She moved out to San Diego in 2006 and has worked in animal hospitals that gave her experience in general practice, emergencies and shelter medicine and surgeries. Maria feels that since animals cannot speak for themselves, it is our responsibility to take care of them and protect them. She has been a team member of Pet n' Vet since early 2013 and this has enhanced her passion for working with animals in their homes with their owners. Maria now specializes in canine massage, where she can truly help ease the pain of dogs. In her spare time, she does volunteer work with her dog Hoku for Paw'sitive Teams. Doing this she can share the joy she receives from him with others who cannot have a pet, or who are in the hospital. She loves traveling and experiencing a variety of cultures, enjoys hockey, rollerblading, cross stitching, and being outdoors with her husband and her three amazing dachshunds Hoku, Nena and Zellie.

Jennifer Adams is our newest addition to the Pet n' Vet Support Service family. She received her Bachelors of Science in animal health science from California State Polytechnic University in 2012. Since then she has taken the state board exams and become a Registered Veterinary Technologist in 2013. It was an easy decision for Jennifer to go into the animal industry, she's been an animal lover her whole life! As a young girl, she would take in injured animals to nurse them back to health and she started volunteering in hospitals at the age of 16 years old. She is currently the owner of a border collie mix named Dixie and a chinchilla named Macy. When she isn't working with Pet n' Vet or volunteering at hospitals she loves the outdoors. Her spare time is filled with hiking, camping, rock climbing and anything else you can do outside!
